I had never thought that Rosemary was the Giver's daughter at all in the whole time I had been reading the book. I fact, I think that it talked about how sorrow or in other words how bad he was feeling at the end of chapter 19 which gave away a clue if I was actually paying really but really close attention at the end of the chapter. Well it is like so so sad from all the pain the Giver had to go though just to try to forget about it, especially after seeing his very own daughter die just like that.
